Open Eudora. Click on Tools at the top, then click on Options....
Select the Getting Started section on the left.

Fill out the fields accordingly:
  • Real Name: Enter the desired display name
  • Email Address: Enter the full email address (ex: john@yourserver.com)
  • Mail Server (Incoming): mail.yourserver.org
  • User Name: Enter the full email address (ex: john@yourserver.com)
  • SMTP Server (Outgoing): mail.yourserver.org
  • Check the box that states Allow Authentication
Click the 'Checking Mail' category on the left.
Fill the fields out accordingly:
  • Mail Server: mail.yourserver.org
  • User Name: Enter the full email address (ex: john@yourserver.com)
  • Select Always on the Secure Sockets when Receiving drop-down menu.
Click the 'Sending Mail' category on the left.
Fill out the fields accordingly:
  • Email Address: Enter the full email address (ex: john@yourserver.com)
  • Domain to add...: Leave this field blank.
  • SMTP Server: mail.yourserver.org
  • Check the box that states Allow Authentication
  • Check the box that states Use submission port (587)
  • Select Always on the Secure Sockets when Sending drop-down menu.
Click the OK to finish.
